Support for positive outcomes

Cornerstone Support was established to provide exceptional levels of care and support to adults with learning difficulties and autism. We also support individuals who are homeless or facing homelessness and are experiencing mental challenges to achieve positive outcomes.

Our supported living accommodation is of the highest standard and located in a friendly and safe environment. Each bedroom can be tailored to the individual, from the colour of the walls to the layout of the furniture to ensure each person truly feels at home. Shared facilities include a living area, laundry room and bathroom with a large garden with several seating areas. Our homes have Wi-Fi, are alarmed and access controlled.

We understand how important it is for those in our care to maintain connections with their families and friends. We support positive relationship building and welcome visitors to the accommodation as well as participation in activities at the home or in the community.

Our objectives

To promote excellence in client support and professional care practice through the encouragement, promotion and support of professional development and engagement.

To continue with the practice development, while working with our clients their families, and support workers, involving them in the decision making about their support and treatment, geared to individual needs, encouraging them to become involved in decisions relating to support delivery.

To always show our clients courtesy and respect irrespective of ethnic origin, religious belief, personal attributes, or the nature of the health problem.

To respond positively to feedback from our clients, their family’s other health and social care professionals and our staff.

Evaluate the performance of our staff and making recommendations for merit awards and personnel classification changes. Counselling and disciplining staff to enable achievement of our objectives, particularly as related to high-quality client support.

To manage the support service efficiently and effectively to make the best use of resources and to maximise value for money for the client.
